Father in Heaven,
I pray for our brothers and sisters in the Middle East who have been arrested or imprisoned for the sake of Christ. Please comfort them with the assurance of Your sovereignty, even in this time. Give them peace about the future and about their families. May the trials they face be as a refining fire to strengthen their faith.

Lord God, I do pray for these believers who have been arrested, that You would protect them and use them as a light in the darkness. May justice and truth prevail and may they be allowed to go home to their families. I pray for their families to be strengthened and given hope as they wait. May they continue to follow You faithfully.

I pray for their families who are worried about them, and for the three who have disappeared with no knowledge of their whereabouts. Father, thank you that by Jesus's blood of the covenant you've released and sent forth your imprisoned people out of the pits they are in the same way you released Joseph from the pit he was in and raised him up to do great and mighty things (Zechariah 9:11).

Lord I ask for those in prison that they can communicate with one another for encouragement and support. Give them remembrance of your word and guide their thoughts to rely on Your promises. Lord give opportunities to share the gospel with those around them. Open the doors of the prison in the hearts and minds of their captors.
