Two Injured in Hindu Mob Attack

Two Christians were attacked and injured during a prayer gathering in western India in March of 2026. Pastor Pratap was praying in the home of a Christian named Nikhil when a large crowd of radicals gathered, entered the house and started beating Pratap. Nikhil and his children tried to protect the pastor, but they were also injured. Members of the mob filed charges against Pratap and Nikhil, and both required several days of hospital care for their injuries. Nikhil, a former alcoholic and troublemaker who was led to Christ by Pastor Pratap, said his family has experienced many miracles, including his transformation, and that this experience of persecution has made their faith in Christ stronger. “I will not turn back from my Christian faith,” he said. “There’s no going back, even if they put a lot of pressure on us.”
