Lord, I pray you would encounter Nigeria with your love. I ask Jesus that you would comfort them in this incredibly hard time. Give them boldness and perseverance Lord. That they would run the race set before them with endurance. Looking to Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith. Jesus, I pray their faith would not fail.

Lord God, please give the Nigerians great boldness in preaching Your Word, and even greater love towards those, especially the Muslims, who hear them. Prepair the hearts, send the workers, may it be very fruitful for Your Kingdom, Lord.
Provide for Jonathan, and bring salvation to the house of Fatima, Lord, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Dear God, I pray that you keep your hand on the Christians in Nigeria, give them comfort even while being in persecution and allow them to always look to in times of distress. Allow them to stay away from harm and grow in their faith in you. In your name, Amen.

Dear God, I pray for Jonathan, and you help him know that he is not alone and that you are by his side. I pray that you will help them get the resources they need. Please place protection over them. I pray that the attackers will realize the wrong that they have done and they come to know you closely.

Lord Jesus please protect Jonathan and his family. Provide a job, a home, food and clothing for them. Be with all the Christians in Northern Nigeria. Encourage them. Protect them. Disband their attackers. Help the Nigerian government to protect the persecuted. Be with world leaders to take it upon themselves to aid Nigeria in bringing about peace.

Dear Father keep you hand on Jonathan and his family and guide their future. Give wisdom to believers in Nigeria that they may know when and how to share the Gospel. Grant them grace to remain steadfast in the face of opposition. Speak. To the hearts of Muslims so they will be open to the Gospel.

Lord, You know Nigeria has long been my second "home" and I love the church there. I pray You would send help to end these atrocities against the Christians in Nigeria. Push back the darkness, Lord! I pray You would protect our brethren there - alert them before attacks come, fight for them, provide for them. Reveal Yourself to the Muslims & save!

Dear Lord,
Muslim extremists threatened to kill Jonathan and his family, so they fled. He is now unemployed and starting over in a new place. We pray and know that you will provide protection, provisions, and resources to not only survive, but to continue in preaching the Gospel for non-believers, so they find salvation through Christ.

Lord God, We ask that the people of northern Nigeria who walk in darkness will see a great light; those who dwell in deep darkness, shine YOUR light on them. Isaiah 9:2 Please give Christians there Your wisdom, courage and strength to stand strong for You! Let them not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21

Beloved Father: Praise be to You for our brethren in northern Nigeria who are in the lion's den, yet remain faithful. Please protect them & provide a new job for Jonathan. Please soften the hearts of Islamists that they would repent & stop their persecution. Please make Your hand heavy upon those who persist in doing violence to our brethren. Amen.

Father God,
As Jonathan and others like him spread the Gospel, I pray that you can watch over them. Flood them with overwhelming peace and comfort of your love during their trials. I pray that you would allow these persecutions to stop, but I pray more that Your will is done. I pray that if persecution is in your plan, that you light shines.
