Father, the conditions in the Eriterea prisons that your children and others are held in are unthinkable. You see this evil and love those who are held captive. In the name of Jesus, I pray that you will bring immediate relief. I pray that you will encourage your children and that they will be salt and light to others. I pray for their release. Amen!

Lord, I pray for Christians in Eritrea. Please help them to have peace that comes from You. Help their families to be provided for and help them to be released. Please help them to trust in You and continue to be a light to their persecutors. Help the authorities and guards to see You and receive You so that they can no longer treat them this way. Amen

Lord, we pray that You would be with those who are imprisoned because of their stand for Christ and give them an extra measure of grace and protection. We ask that You would use them to minister to fellow prisoners and captors and that You would see to their release and ultimate justice. We stand on Your promise that the Word of God is not chained.

Father, we pray you would protect and give wisdom to the Christians in Eritrea. Show them your love, guide their lives and release them from prison. In Jesus name.

Father God, we pray for God's peace to be with Christian prisoners in Eritrea and with their families, and we pray for their release. We also praise that You touch and soften the hearts of Eritrean government officials, leading them to repentance and to accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and to allow people to gather and worship freely.

Father, draw near to these prisoners, and comfort and encourage them , and give them your peace. Strengthen them to endure and persevere. Soften the hearts of the guards, and help these believers to be your witnesses to them. Make a way for them to be released soon. Amen.

Father, make our prayers powerful and effective to move and bring about the release of these prisoners. And even more grant them great strength to withstand suffering and to find encouragement in full faith and trust in Your presence with them and Your love for them. Let the tiny bit they eat nourish their bodies. Keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Let their hearts and thoughts always be on you.
