Dear Lord,
As stated, we pray for Michelle, as her father told her she was no longer his daughter and he would not pay her living expenses. He also beat her and forbade her from attending church. Church leaders request prayer that her family will turn to Christ and that Michelle and the Christians supporting her will have peace and wisdom.

Thank you loving Father for giving Michelle the courage to escape the voodoo ritual and to stand fast in faith in spite of being beaten and disowned.
Give wisdom to Michelle and the believers supporting her in relating to her Father. Open her father's eyes to the joy and freedom that is found in Jesus.

Oh Lord that you will sustain her. You will guard her and that you will help her to know that you're leading her. As you helped Daniel and his friends to be faithful to you in the midst of oppositions and cultural practices which would lead to idolatry, help her to remain faithful! I pray that not only her family but the whole tribe will come to Jesus!

Father God thank you for Michelle's wisdom. Give her continued strength in the face of persecution from her Father. Every morning she wakes and throughout the day fill her with your Spirit, courage and unspeakable joy that she has chosen the You. Like Mary when Martha complained don't let the cares of the world take her away from time at your feet.
