Pray for Families Denied Rice Following Drought

[249] prayers in [14] nations have been posted for Families Denied.

After a drought earlier this year, authorities sought to distribute rice to help struggling villagers, telling the village’s leader to gather information about villagers before distribution. The leader then prevented the village’s 17 Christian families from obtaining rice. Following this and other instances of persecution, three of the 17 families renounced their faith. VOM is providing rice for the 14 families. Pray that the families will soon be able to grow their own rice, and pray that they will be able to help feed others in need and be seen as a light in their village.

  • My Father, use this persecution to bring glory to your name. When Jesus walked the earth in a garment of flesh, the world hated him. It is not different today. Make these lovely believers to know that if we suffer with Christ, we shall surely reign with Him. Give them strength and perseverance.
