Please stop the work of the adversary in his work through the people, monks and others to stop the spread of your word. Give them justice and peace. Father, forgive this Buddhist monk and the other individuals who assaulted the pastor, they know not what they are doing. Help our brother to not become bitter or to exact revenge against his attacker's. Instead, may he pray for those who persecute and abuse him. Provide healing for any residual spiritual, emotional or physical effects from the attack.

Dear Lord, please cover these believers with the love, grace, and comfort that only Your Holy Spirit can provide. Give them wisdom, so they will know how to live and react when persecution comes again. Help them to know that they are examples to us of standing firm in the faith in the face of persecution. Remind them of Your promise in 1 Peter 4:14.
