Pray for Taliban Persecutors

[147] prayers in [9] nations have been posted for hearts to be softened.

As the Taliban government is working to eliminate all religions other than Islam, pray that they will be won to Christ. “The secret police go to homes at random to look for evidence of people practicing a different faith,” said a front-line worker. “People are being detained and tortured and become vulnerable to revealing information. It is exhausting having to constantly look over your shoulder.” Many Taliban fighters were purchased as young children from impoverished families. They were taken to Islamic training schools and brainwashed into believing their highest honor would be to die for Islam. Pray that their hearts would be softened toward the Lord. Pray also that Christians in Afghanistan will be encouraged and strengthened in faith.
