Lord God, I do ask that You would comfort those who are grieving and help them to find hope and strength to go on in You. Please provide for those who have lost their possessions in the attack, and may they trust You as their Provider. I pray that You would protect Your people and surround them with Your peace as they suffer.

Father, Your enemy has usurped so much of this world. Put him to shame in this region. Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing setting up an Islamic state. They are blind and violent.
