Lord, I lift up Ethiopian Christians to Your throne of Grace. I pray for complete healing of their injuries. By Your stripes they are healed. Help them to remember You have promised in Your Word to never leave them or forsake them. I pray for strength & courage as they continue to share Your Gospel message in Ethiopia. May Your Holy Spirit overflow.

We pray for Your children who are under constant persecution and physical injury. Deliver them to a speedy recovery from their wounds and give them encouragement for believers proclaiming the gospel in that hostile area. Enrich their faith and give them strength to not stop Your worship, but have them praising loudly and boldly.

Lord Jesus, you tried to show us that there is a better way than hatred and violence. Loving and forgiving (Your way) works so much better. Please use Your divine powers to reach the hearts of those attacking Your believers, and bring relief and healing to those attacked.

Lord, please protect your faithful Church from attack. Heal the people who suffered from this brutal attack. Strengthen the faith of the Ethiopian brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray for Your mighty hand to convert Islam attackers hearts to You, the only true God on earth and heaven.

Heavenly Father, please bring healing, both physical and psychological, to the Christians at this service who were wounded by the extremists. Help them to forgive their attackers and give the extremists a desire to know more about you first hand, not from other Muslims. Encourage all Christians in that region.

Let neighbors, who are either Muslim or worshipers of tribal gods, witness believers' light, love and forgiveness. Let them see Jesus who delivers and transforms us into His likeness through discipleship.

Father God I pray that those wounded would physically heal quickly yet also I pray You would lessen the trauma that was experienced by these attacks.
