Christians Forced from Family Homes

[5] prayers in [1] nation have been posted for Uzbek families.

Front-line workers say that three families who left Islam and became followers of Christ have been forced from their homes. “It is common for young families to live with or near their parents or other family members as they save up funds to someday build their own place to live,” said a front-line worker. “But Christians who have been forced [out] usually can’t afford to pay rent and to save money so they can build or purchase their own home in the future.” Another difficulty these Christians face is that landlords may refuse to rent homes to followers of Christ. “We need to pray for Christians to be accepted by their families, and also that they will have long-term places to live,” said the front-line worker.

  • Father God, You know the situation of every Christian who is hurting & being persecuted. They lose a place to live when their faith in Jesus Christ becomes known. Soften the hearts of their families to allow them to have a place live. Grow the faith of these precious believers in Christ. Be glorified in this situation. In the Name of Jesus Christ.

  • LORD, please help your homeless and displaced Uzbek children. Soften their families' hearts and give them patience towards their ousted family members while they find accommodations. Even better, please improve their hearts. Strengthen and provide for ministries there to offer housing and jobs. Glorify your name in Uzbekistan!

  • Beloved Father: Praise be to You for the new faith of these 3 families. Please soften the hearts of their family members that they would accept our brethren & not expel them from home. Please provide their needs according to Your mercy. May their witness lead their families to Christ. We pray these things in the Name of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
