Holy, Almighty Father God, please change the hearts of these local authorities and community leaders who are doing much to suppress Your church among minority groups. Provide Pastor Wang and his congregation with safe, effective meeting places. May the Holy Spirit do a powerful work to bring many more to Christ in the villages and rural areas of Laos.

Father, In the deepest struggles we face, You are there. Remind these precious Christians that you are a God of mercy and miracles. Help them to trust you completely and may they be delivered from fear.
May these Christians have wisdom as they face persecution. May the police be touched by their witness and cease harming them.

Good Shepherd, come and lead your flock, especially the church in this minority tribal group in Laos. Grant wisdom to these brothers and sisters. Inspire in them a holy love that casts out fear.

Dear Lord, your children are frightened and need comfort and reassurance of your abiding love for them. Give the authorities an unexplained mercy upon this congregation so they can build your church in both building and believers. Raise up Christians in the police to counteract the hate. Encourage the people daily.

The church, O God, is being built together as a holy temple of God, both Jews and Gentiles. Jesus is himself the cornerstone, and remembering that once we were not part of Christ, of the citizenship of Israel, nor covenants of the promise, the church is being built without walls between. Help Laos realize that Christianity is not just for Westerners.

Lord, may you protect your people from harm. Give them wisdom and provide their needs. Bring strength to withstand fear, peace to continue in faith and love towards those against you.
