God, Aliyu comes from a land at war. Show him the Prince of Peace, and guide his paths. Let him know the comfort of a God who is a shepherd, who rescued him from evil. Lead him into green pastures, and keep his faith strong. Save each member of his family, bringing them to truth, and reuniting them with Aliyu. Let them know the love of the true God.

Lord God, thank You for saving Aliyu. I do pray that he would continue to be firm in his faith and grow spiritually, and that he would have Your love even for his persecutors. May his witness be powerfully used to bring his family to Christ, and may he have a Christian community who will support him in the loneliness.
