Father God, you alone know your plan for those who are detained and imprisoned. Give their friends and family peace when they are without knowledge of where their loved one is. Give them opportunities while in confinement to share the gospel to those who want to hear. Keep all of the Christians in Afghanistan safe.

Jesus, you say those who are persecuted because of our association with you are blessed and should jump for joy. Equip these Afghan believers with such a joy.
