Help the family to endure during this trial, strengthen their trust and faith in You despite circumstances. May Gul's sentence be overturned and be exonerated of all false charges. May Your Name be lifted up and glorified in South Asia.

I pray that his faith is rewarded more than he can ever imagine bringing hope and salvation to those around him in prison. Even the prison guards. Comfort the hearts of his family. Lord, continue to give Gul boldness in bringing hope to those in prison. He follows in the examples of Richard Wurmbrand, Corrie ten Boom, Bonhoeffer and many others also imprisoned for standing in the name of Jesus. Thank you for the ongoing prayers from his family and church, protect and guide them to lead others to Christ with that same boldness.

Lord thank you that Pastor Gul seeks identification and purpose from the story of Joseph. Help him to be anchored in the eternal truth that there is nothing greater than knowing and experiencing the presence of Jesus when being persecuted. Yes, use Pastor Gul's time to shine the light of Your Holy Spirit in the darkness. The men who sat in darkness have seen a great Light. That Light is You. Make the most of his time. Keep him healthy and safe. Give hope to the remnant that prays for him.
