Our hearts cry out for the children of the martyrs. Thank You for the faithful witness of their families who were obedient even unto death. Your Word does not return void. We know that You will generously reward their faithfulness. May You comfort and provide for all of the needs of their children. Please keep them safe from harm in Your hands.

Cause the gospel to thrive and its influence to know no boundaries in the midst of persecution in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Father, our momentary light affliction pails in comparison to the persecution that our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Democratic Republic of Congo and elsewhere throughout the world face on a daily basis. Forgive us in the United States for not coming alongside our persecuted and martyred family members and bearing their burdens in Jesus' name.

Please comfort these believers with Your peace, joy and forgiveness as only You can give. Oh Father, it is so devastating to read about the children who have lost their parents and so many others were murdered as well. Give these children a deep sense of Your Presence and may they cling to you and each other as they mourn this tremendous loss. Thank you for VOM who is helping provide their needs. Protect them from any further violence.

I thank VOM for their work against evil in the eastern world. There is no other group that tackles this increasing evil by helping the CHRISTIANS to survive and multiple. I ask my FATHER in heaven to protect HIS persecuted children even in the threat of myrtadom. May the HOLY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST grow by leaps and bounds, especially against evil.

Lord I grieve with these children who have lost their parents and I pray for all that they need to be provided for. I pray Lord for you to heal memories of their parents and for You to save the good memories and erase the trauma of what has happened. I pray those who have killed them to be remorseful and to meet to Jesus and be changed by it.
