Father, I do not understand why these Christians are being arrested. Supposedly, the Orthodox, Catholic and Lutherns call themselves Christians, then why is it specifically evangelical Christians? Is it because we are vocal in our praises? Keep these prisoners of faith safe. We ask this in your son's holy name. Amen

Dear Heavenly Father,
We ask that You would be with these arrested Christians - pour out Your peace and joy on their hearts, even while they face time in that prison. Please be with them, comfort them, give them hope, give them Your light in the darkness. Be with their families, strengthen them all.

Father, I lift up my brothers and sisters to you in Eritrea. You see their suffering and know their pain. I pray you move on their behalf. Strengthen them and let them feel your arms of comfort around them. I pray they know they are not forsaken. Use them as they are in prison to shine upon those around them. Deal with the hearts of those lost. Move.

I don't know what to say. Please be with my brothers and sisters who have been thrown in prison for simply gathering to worship You. Father God, we are blessed in Christ to see so many prayers on behalf of those who are suffering. You are the supply of the oppressed, the broken hearted, and the meek. Jesus will set all prisoners free, not just in this world, but in eternity to come in His perfect kingdom. Please give the prisoners in Eritrea their daily bread in Jesus' name.

Psalm 146: Loving Father thank You for revealing Your truth in Eritrea. Please execute Justice for the oppressed, give food to the hungry. Grant freedom to the prisoners, Open the eyes of the blind and raise those who are bowed down. Thank you for loving these righteous believers and watching over strangers, the fatherless and widows.

OLORD, be close & comfort your children in Eritrea. Encourage them with your Holy Spirit as you did the disciples. May they keep company with each other. I ask that the arrests would be reversed, & they would be released from their captors, but if not, may their guards look with favor on them. May Eritrea become a village that praises you forever. Amen

Dear Jesus, please release your precious believers like you released Paul and Silas from prison. Help them. Comfort them. Turn the hearts of the officials away from persecuting the Christians.

Father, our imprisoned Eritrean brothers and sisters in Christ face hellish conditions and desperately need Your peace, comfort and deliverance from the persecution that's plagued their nation for decades. Just like You parted the Red Sea for Moses and the Israelites, please save and deliver our Eritrean family from the wicked schemes of the adversary.
