Bob Fu Faces Continued Harassment in the U.S. by Chinese Communist Party

Beginning in September, Chinese Christian and founder of ChinaAid, Bob Fu, has been the target of harassment by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Threats directed at Bob were posted on social media, urging others to harass him at his family’s home in Midland, Texas, and to kill him and other Chinese dissidents. Since then, Bob and his family have been under police protection in their home or have been forced to leave their home to go into hiding. “I have no doubt this is directly from Beijing,” said Bob. “The goal is clear. It's to silence my voice for freedom in China and to destroy the ministry of ChinaAid.” In 1996, Bob Fu and his wife Heidi were imprisoned in China for two months due to illegal evangelism. In 1997, Bob fled to the U.S. where he founded ChinaAid Association, a non-profit with an emphasis on supporting Chinese Christians and their families who have experienced persecution by the Chinese Communist government. Bob shared his story through his book, God’s Double Agent, and was part of VOM’s 2020 Virtual Advance Conference. Pray for Bob Fu and for his family’s protection. Pray also that the threats against him and his family will serve only to advance God’s kingdom in China.
