Father, we lift the prisoners Mai Serwa prison to you. May the Holy Spirit begin a revival with all the CHRISTians there. Help them know how to encourage each other & be a witness to the unbelievers around them. Prepare the day when they will be free & return to their families. Give them a future & hope as only you can do. May Jesus be glorified there.

Lord, please break through the darkness of Eritrea. I cannot believe how incredibly dark it is. Draw near to these people; may Your church grow despite the opposition to them. Help those who are in prison to find one another and have fellowship together. May their guards see You in them and be kind to them. Draw this country out of evil, O God!!!

Father, iron bars and prison walls are unable to seperate our Eritrean brothers and sisters in-Christ from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. May Your powerful and pervasive Holy Spirit be real and present to the Eritrean believers who suffer the bonds of affliction because of their faithful witness and obedience to You and Your Word.

Give them strength to stand for the cross of Calvary with this confidence in their hearts that you are with them in their troubles and pain. Open their spiritual eyes to see the presence of the Holy Spirit who is lifting the up their burdens.

Strengthen the bodies and spirit of those in prison to withstand whatever comes their way, and give them love for the ones who have imprisoned them. Provide for their families in their absence and give them courage to also stand for You in the absence of their family members.

Bless these people as they face hardships and persecution for serving You. May they find joy, peace and fulfillment knowing that they are suffering for You. Use them in the prisons and to the prison guards and others they are around to bring them to salvation. Let them be a positive example of You in these moments. Give them courage and hope.
