Teens Driven from Home

[233] prayers in [14] nations have been posted for Hanifah and Nasira.

Two half-sisters remain fearful after being kicked out of their home for attending church. Hanifah, 15, and Nasira, 14, were driven from their home by their father, who became a polygamist after converting to Islam. Although their mothers attended mosque, Hanifa and Nasira chose to attend church. When their father learned that they were disobeying his orders to stay away from the church, he forced them and their mothers to leave the house. The girls were then taken in by a VOM contact who is a pastor. “We are happy to be here … where we can freely go to church,” Nasira said. “Pray for us to overcome our fears. Also pray that we can see our mothers again.” The girls don’t know where their mothers are living.
