Lord, persecution is rampant all over the world, and it will only get worse. Bless our brothers and sisters who are suffering for their faith and strengthen those of us who are not used to such persecution. You promise to not lose a single one of your lambs, and I ask that you would hold us close in these trying times. In Jesus's name. Amen.

Help us who do not have loved ones killed for their faith, to somehow try to understand what it takes to follow you under such circumstances. Grant those who suffer more of your grace, which is sufficient in all things. Bring peace to their souls; and, lead millions to faith in Jesus through them.

Keep him from prison but if it is your will, let him literally turn every prisoner he comes in contact with to you so Satan's plan is destroyed. Place peace in Alisher's heart and let him see the ways you are working in his life to further the gospel. Father, thank You for my brother Alisher who could not keep his faith to himself and shared it in the work place. Alisher is now suffering the consequences of following Jesus and we pray for grace and peace to be his portion and we also pray that his community and fellow believers would stand up for him and that government officials would be thwarted.
