Christian Woman and Children Kicked Out of Home

When Doreka told her Muslim husband that she had become a Christian, he angrily chased her out of the house and told her he would hang their four children. She quickly gathered the children and took refuge in a nearby church. “No matter what happens, I stand firm in Jesus Christ because of His promises,” she told a VOM worker. “In Islam, they teach that their heaven is a garden. But I heard that Jesus is the one to take us to the Father, so I accepted Christ.” With assistance from VOM, Doreka and her children are now living in a house of their own and the children are back in school. Their local church also continues to provide support and encouragement. Pray that this family will continue to trust the Lord.
