These pastors remind me a lot of Paul. Being in prison but still rejoicing. God please grant them continued strength and joy! What a blessing it is to have strong Christians in the world who are joyful in tribulation!

Grant so much joy to these pastors in jail, that the jail shakes with light and love. Bring eternal joy and peace to the land. Show the people of Uttar Pradesh that you live. Show them how to live and love and serve you and one another. Bring medicine and labor and healing on all levels, to this place of suffering. Release the oppressed, bring hope.

I also pray that you would provide and meet the needs of the people who face persecution. I ask that you would grant them the strength they need.

We do praise You for Your sovereignty over Your church, that Your light shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome it. Please continue to grow and strengthen the believers there; may they know hope and joy in the midst of persecution. Give them unity with one another, love for those who oppose them, and belief in Your promises.

Father God, Please stop this persecution at the very top of the government. Let the leaders of India be convicted that this is wrong and put a stop to it. This violence is sanctioned, it is pervasive and it is increasing. Let your mighty power work through miracles, visions, conviction, and your Spirit of truth to change the beliefs of the leaders.

Father God, I thank you for the harvest you are bringing in India; we praise you. Help all of India to see that Jesus is the only way to the Father: that He is the truth! Strengthen the faith of the faithful so that all will see that we have been saved by the one true God. That true joy only exists in those who have received forgiveness through Jesus.
