Lord- we do praise you for the release of this group and yet we pray for intervention on behalf of those who are still being held. I pray the ISSIS will come to know you and turn from their life of hate and violence. Fill them with the peace that surpasses understanding. Draw them into your family. In your name I pray. Amen!

Father God, we don't know why those who murder Your people will sometimes release them, but we know Your hand is over it. Help us to take heart in an unstable world and please give these Assyrian believers protection and strength to endure trying times. Through their faith, turn many hearts to Jesus, our Savior until He comes.

Lord, thank You for the release of these Christians. Please comfort them as they continue to recover from the trauma. May they find refuge in a safe place. If the other Christians are still captive, please keep them and set them free. May their captors be convicted, repent, and be saved. In the Mighty Name of Jesus. Thank God. Amen.
