Father, please comfort these congregations over their loss of their church. May they be able to locate new gathering places that are better. You said we would be persecuted and we know the disciples rejoiced to be called to suffer for the sake of the Gospel. Please help them to show Your love to their attackers and that they will desire to know You

Father God, we pray for the people these churches represent and ask that their faith be strengthened with your hope and mercy. May they be encouraged to press on despite the opposition they face. Provide a new place to meet, and may their response to suffering demonstrate the love of Jesus. May those who oppose them be brought to faith in you, Lord.

Father, You told us that all who would live godly in Christ will suffer persecution, and we see this in Ethiopia. We pray that our brothers and sisters will see this as a fulfillment of that verse. Thank You that the Church is not a building. Grant these believers courage, and show them how to take advantage of the attacks to proclaim the Gospel.

Father, church is not a physical building, but Your people, Your children, the body of Christ. No destruction like this will ever destroy your church. Give wisdom and guidance to the church in how to carry on your mission and will without a place to meet. Remove any fear from their hearts as they fully trust in Jesus. Grow her in faith and numbers.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, bring grace and peace to the believers whose buildings have been destroyed and grant them opportunities to love their persecutors and enemies in the midst of suffering and draw the hearts of these persecutors to Yourself Father God such that many come to know Jesus and are willing themselves to follow Him publicly amen

Thank You for the faithfulness of these believers. I pray that You would encourage them to continue following You and spreading the gospel despite the persecution. May they be comforted by the fact that they are pleasing You with their boldness, and may even their persecutors come to hear and be transformed by the truth.

Give them the awareness to recognize potential future attacks. Erect an impenetrable barrier of spiritual and physical protection that their adversaries cannot overcome.
