Father, though the church doors were closed, I thank you that church is not a building and ask that if the church is still closed that you will give these believers wisdom and guidance on how to continue to meet and worship together. Please work in this situation and in the hearts of the locals who reported them, that they might be saved.

Move in this situation! Let Your light continue to shine! We know that men cannot stop Your Will and Your Word. Use this as a way to reach many with the gospel. We ask in Your name that the church would be reopened and that it would flourish and grow and all who come near it would feel Your love and Your grace!

Father, you can have this church opened if you see fit. You lead Israel back to rebuild the temple and wall; you can move. I pray that you will strengthen your children here and give them wisdom in dealing with the authorities. I pray that the believers will remain faithful and strong in their faith. Grant them a love for those muslims who lodged complaints against the church,and use that love to draw many to Yourself. Sovereign Lord, you are above all authority and power. Arise and save the Sudanese Church of Christ from this persecution. Give them favor in the eyes of their persecutors and send your Spirit to give them words and wisdom as they are questioned and investigated. May their conduct be blameless and call the community around them to listen to the Gospel.
