Lord, in your wisdom and love you had turn Paul from a persecutor to a staunch professor of the gospel, in your perfect will please continue to bring many sheep to you thru Sheikh Ashim. For you sustain our lives, please favor him and his family with abundance by your prodigally blessings. Praise you for being their refuge, rock and shield. Amen

Father, I am blessed and humbled to hear of Sheikh's faithfulness through the difficulties he has faced and his zeal to share Christ. I thank you for the strength you have given him and I pray that you will continue to encourage and uphold him and to continue to be glorified through his life and testimony. Keep those who have recently been saved.

Lord, we praise you for our brother in Christ Sheikh Ashim, and we ask that you help him to persevere in his faith. Keep him strong in his testimony about you, and give him more opportunities to share with those who need to hear about your grace and forgiveness. Ground him in your word Lord, and may he find rest and encouragement in your presence.

Thank You, Jesus, that he was willing to turn from evil and violence and now is willing to risk his life for the Truth. Give him more of Your Holy Spirit and guide him in wisdom and discernment to lead more to know You.

Lord Jesus, Sheikh Ashim Hussein, is on the frontlines of gospel work in Ethiopia and he knows that his life is definitely on the line. Grant him wisdom and boldness in how and when he shares the truth of Jesus with other sheikhs. Protect his family and meet their needs as they are having to frequently relocate to escape sure death for the gospel.
