Dear Jesus, I pray that Your Holy Spirit would minister to each student and each family and heal them of dreams and panic attacks and any physical damage to their bodies from their capture. Help them to be able to sleep in peace. Convict the ones who captured them of the evil they did and bring them to repentance and conversion to Jesus.

I cannot begin to imagine the terror the students and their parents have experienced. But even in the midst of all this, we know that You are sovereign; that You can bring beauty from ashes. We ask that each student would be returned safe and You would empower them to remain in You. Comfort the parents!

Please surround them with Your strength to remain faithful to You, and may their parents also have the endurance they need to wait and suffer. May these kidnappers be kept from harming any more innocent lives.
