Jesus, come to the defense of Your people. Give Christian leaders wisdom and discernment as to what to do. Send Your Holy Spirit to comfort and guide those who have lost family, friends and property. Convict government leaders to defend the Christians. Convert the Muslim people to turn from evil and know Jesus.

Please pour out Your grace, comfort and strength on our brothers and sisters in Nigeria. They have, and continue to suffer greatly for Your name's sake! Please, subdue the evil that wants so badly to destroy the light. Convict the hearts, of the persecutors, of the government and authorities, let them see the Truth and be saved.

Father, it is hard to know how to pray for these who suffer so terribly. We know that you are there and that you see all that is going on. You alone can help those who are suffering so. Please bring peace to Nigeria. Please bring supernatural comfort to those who are suffering loss and facing so much trauma. You are the great Shepherd, please help.

Father God, from Your word, we know the days are evil. Our hearts break over the violence against your people. Please give them DIVINE help! Hold accountable the dispassionate police and give comfort to the believers grieving such tragedies. May Your judgment prevail in Nigeria until many repent. Please help your people by Jesus' name.

Please answer our prayers for our brothers and sisters in Nigeria. When they hurt, we hurt! Seeing evil play out against them makes us so sad and angry, too. You can do all things , so we are asking You to send relief and respite to the kidnapped and their families. Make them feel our love and prayers and most of all, Your presence.

Dear Father in Heaven. I pray that Your will is done in Nigeria. Please provide for the physical and spiritual needs of the Christians under severe persecution. Give them peace that only You can give in all circumstances. I ask that those kidnapped are returned safely. Cause the captors and persecutors to be under severe conviction and to repent.

Father, we ask You to be very near to our brothers and sisters in Nigeria. You are their hiding place, You will gather to Yourself those who are suffering and will wipe away all of their tears. There is no help for them from men. You alone have said that there is comfort under Your wings, and that You will bind up the broken-hearted. Do this for them.
