Dear LORD, I cannot imagine the horrible deaths these people suffered, & their families witnessed. Heal those deeply vivid images of pain. Change them to beautiful dreams of their loved ones in glory with Jesus. Please send help & provisions for Cadeau & other villages. May these terrorists have a miraculous change of heart. Thank You for the Christians of the DRC. Please draw the survivors near to Your heart and strengthen them, and give them Your peace. I pray for protection over them and that You'd stir in the hearts of the extremists and others who are lost. Please cause them to seek You.

Lord I am grieved with the orphaned children of this village and I weep with them losing their parents to violence and hatred. I ask for healing and hope and help with the trauma they are working through. I pray Your Holy Spirit would tend to their wounds and bind up their broken hearts. I pray for a restoration and a peace that only Jesus can bring.

Oh God, we weep with our brothers and sisters who weep. We pray that You, God of all comfort, will comfort those who have such grave losses of homes and loved ones. We pray for those who suffered these great traumas, that You will heal their minds and spirits. That You will restore their souls by the love of Christ. That they will be able to forgive.

Lord, we mourn with the body of Christ in the DRC for these martyred missionaries back in 2014. We ask for the surviving orphans to be cared for and discipled. We ask for these survivors to be bold followers of Jesus in that Pygmy village of Cadeau. We pray for these believers to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves before their persecutors.

Lord God, I pray for the orphaned children of the DRC. I pray that you would give them Your peace as well as courage and strength to forgive their parent's murderers. Be with both the children and Christians of Cadeau for Your precious Name's sake.

Interrup the adversary to do further harm & squashed his efforts. Please bless those providing care for them during this time of need & comfort their hearts in the name of Jesus Christ.

May these children learn to trust You and hold to Your promises in the midst of an evil world, and may they have loving caregivers who can help them grow and develop in You.

Please don't let their deaths be in vain, but help the children understand one day what their parents died for and be willing to follow in their footsteps. In Your name amen.

Father, I pray for Your people in Cadeau. Thank You that You are building Your church in that place. Lord Jesus, You have overcome the enemy. Give strength and courage to your people. I pray especially for the comfort, care, protection and provision for the children whose parents were killed. Let them stand fast. Shine the light of the Gospel.

Father, I can't imagine the hate. Lord, help this village and those who lost loved ones to heal, comfort them. Touch those children, help them to forgive and not become bitter. Remind them of who you are and your love for them. Someday this is going to be over, and we are going home. Speak to the hearts of those who did this. Pour out your Spirit.

Father, will You continue to work through this pastor's life to encourage his church to follow You with all of their heart. Guide them by Your Spirit, put before them open doors, and encourage their hearts.

Please protect them from a spirit of bitterness, fear, and revenge, guiding them in every situation they may face as time passes. Please Lord, provide and speak to their hearts. Father, we thank you for caring for the children orphaned by this attack on your workers. How can we go on against such violence without your help? Provide for their needs, food and shelter, and lift them up spiritual to find healing and salvation from the terror of the attack. May their attackers be ashamed of their actions and drawn to Jesus quickly.
