Father, many brothers and sisters have been apprehended and imprisoned for their faith and we are asking for their release and in the meantime, please Father God, grant these believers grace, strength, supernatural health and bold love for their captors and fellow inmates and may opportunities to share Jesus abound and may many more come to faith!

Father I pray for my brothers and sisters in Iran that they will remember and take great comfort that the words the Apostle Paul spoke in Romans 8:18 "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us." I pray that their faithful witness produces much fruit in Iran.

Lord God, we do ask that these believers would be released. May all the Christians in Iran be covered by Your peace; may they be ever mindful of Your word and continue to trust that what You say is true. Protect them from bitterness and fear and may those who persecute them hear the gospel, repent and believe.

Lord, you are our Protector and our Refuge and Strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Help these believers to live free from fear, and may their love for others fuel their courage to continue to share you with others. Give them wisdom and peace as they experience persecution, and help their faith to grow as they rely completely on you.
