Believers Teaching Scripture to Syrian Refugees

[356] prayers in [19] nations have been posted for Bible Club for Syrian Refugees.

Each month, believers in a city in Lebanon teach Scripture to about 70 Syrian refugee children in a Bible club. Recently, the Christians taught the children Luke 2:40 while their parents were learning the same Scripture in a concurrent parents meeting. The staff meet regularly for prayer and discipleship with a group of eight boys and five girls after each study. The children’s Muslim parents know they are studying the Bible, but they don’t mind. In fact, the parents are impressed with the things they are learning from Scripture. “We would like to thank the Lord for the ministry in the difficult area of our country where we are serving,” said the Bible ministry team leader.

  • Lord, thank You for the 'little' opportunities like this to share the Gospel. Protect this group. I plead Your blood Jesus on them. Hide them and draw others to learn. As they learn, draw them into deep fellowship with You and save them. Fill them with conviction, truth, joy and peace. Bless and protect the workers and their families. In Jesus' name.
