Lord, you are the only hope for each person. Pastor Wang Yi and Mrs. Jiang Rong learned this first hand. They stood, and are continuing to stand, firm in that truth. Thank you that your power is made perfect in weakness. Please release them to freedom! And if that is not your plan, thank you that you will never leave us nor forsake us.

Lord, thank you for the example set by Pastor Wang Yi, his wife Jiang Rong, and the faithful church members who proclaimed your gospel daily, weekly, monthly, yearly.

Lord, thank you for the church who continues to pray, to advocate, to praise your name in all situations. We know you love Michael Yu, an American who has been interrogated six times by security agents in Shanghai, Pastor Wang Yi of Early Rain Church, his wife Jiang Rong, and all of Early Rain church. You are ever present and you will never leave us.

Lord, you give us breath every day. You prepared each place and time where we would live because You can be glorified in all people at all times in all situations. Thank you for showing yourself faithful to 800 people who are striving to be faithful to you in Early Rain Church.

Lord, I thank you for the truth of your word in Galatians 6:9. Pastor Wang Yi and Jiang Rong will continue to do good. They will reap a harvest if they do not give up. You are the faithful God and we praise your holy name.

Lord, please be with Pastor Wang Yi and Jiang Rong as their Church is being charged as being an illegal cult. I pray that you vindicate for these individuals and prove to the government that this church and school is exactly that and has the right to be open in Jesus name amen !

Lord, you are present in Chengdu. Your love is flowing through the faithful servants who read your word, speak your word, discus your word, and live your word. Please take these words from my heart to the hearts of Early Rain Church: I remember you, I pray for you, I sing with you, I praise God with you, I am in the one church of Christ with you.

Lord, we are one body with the Chinese church. You know the names and locations of all of your sheep. You said in John 10 than no one can snatch them out of your hand. You are full of love for torturers and for the tortured. You are all good all the time. I praise your holy name.

Lord, it is most easy to ask for comfort, peace, and freedom for Pastor Wang Yi and his wife and his church...but your Word says in Romans that we are to make our bodies a living sacrifice...So I thank you that nothing in all creation can separate us from you.

Lord, please do for me as you do for Pastor Wang Yi, Jiang Rong, and the entire Early Rain Church: fill me with so much love, trust, faith and perseverance that the labels of the world are muted by the spirit that indwells. Make their faces to shine with your goodness.

And we also know this truth: If believe in your heart and speak with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved. Speak, Lord!

Please strengthen them in faith and let them have the joy of knowing You grow in their hearts untill it overflowes. Please send calls of faith in all officials in Chengdu and save them. Lord, i trust you that you can be trusted to be true to your character. You led Pastor Wang and Mrs. Jiang into faithful works of service. You sustain them today during persecution. You allow people like me to participate in prayers for their well being and for the salvation of the souls of their persecutors. You do all things well.

Lord, thank you for your words in Luke 11, "Happy are those who hear God's word and obey it!" I ask you to use all persecution of Early Rain Church members to hasten your purpose for each person, for the church in China and for the church universal.

Lord, thank you for the primary school in Early Rain Church. Thank you for the seed of your Word which will bloom in each of their hearts and lives.

Lord, I ask you to bring these words to the hearts and minds of all faithful witnesses in Chengdu: Psalm 40 I waited patiently for the Lord's help; then he listened to me and heard my cry. He pulled me out of a dangerous pit, out of the deadly quicksand. Mobilize free Christians to immediately and comprehensively come to their aid .

Father, thank You for the courage of those men and women who openly serve Christ in Chengdu. I ask that the continued pressure put on the people of the Early Rain Church will serve to make them strong in the Lord. I ask for open doors through the Spirit of God for continuing ministry in these days and the days ahead. Let Christ be glorified in them.
