I ask that You will open before them a door of effective service, that their lives will reflect Your glory, and that You will strengthen each one in loving and following Jesus. Father God, please encourage the believers in China through the power of Your Holy Spirit given through faith in JESUS. The world doesn't know it or own it. They can close buildings, but not Your church! Let the ungodly see their need for Jesus to conform their minds and hearts to the truth. I thank you in Jesus' name who lives forevermore.

Thank You for Pastor Huang Xiaoning and his church and their willingness to suffer for the Gospel. I pray for him and Wang Chuanjun and the two other Christians detained by the Chinese state; may You strengthen their church to hold fast to You. I pray for Pastor Huang, those arrested with him and all the people in his church. Give them the courage to stand strong and continue meeting together. Protect them all and give them a powerful witness to those around them. May people see how willing they are to suffer for You and want to know more of such faith.

I do pray that this church would continue to be unified, that their love and care for one another would be a vibrant witness to those around them. May they be protected from false accusations and attacks and may they face the persecution that comes with courage and peace. I pray that the officials harassing them would have hearts softened by truth.
