Father, thank You for Your work in Ethiopia and Somalia. Please strengthen all Christians in faith and let them be rooted in You. I am pleading, please send calls of faith to all Islamic extremist group's in Africa and give them strength to receive You as their personal Savior, save them and let them work for You. Father, I don't pray for persecution to stop because we know what you say about the persecuted, but I pray that you would use their persecution for your good. Father I pray that the Christians on Ethiopia would experience community like there never has been. That they would encourage and strengthen each other. Lord I pray that they would feel ur love.

Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and enable them to stand strong in the face of persecution and suffering. Pour out Your grace, wisdom, and understanding upon them.

Father, please help the governments of Somalia and Ethiopia to stand strong in their jobs to protect all the people. May your Holy Spirit come and protect those who believe in you, give them your strength and awareness of the evil around them. We know that Satan waits on believers as a wolf devours the sheep, we ask a hedge around them in protection.

Father, we know the real battle is in the heavenly places, and I ask that You crush the demons that are inspiring this violence. Deliver the men that the demons are using, and bring them to redemption through the gospel. Even bring the leaders of al-Shabab to faith in You, and let these terrorists become committed to You, the only true God.

Lord give your people courage to stand up against this terrorist group that uses fear to get converts instead of the love of the lord Jesus Christ. I pray for repentance on the part of the attackers, and for comfort and strength for all of these left to carry on after their loved ones have died. Remind them that their beloved ones rest peacefully in You, with the assurance of eternal life, and just give them strength to carry on with love, courage, forgiveness, and peace.
