May this attack result in a stronger church, one that models forgiveness and confidence in an omnipotent, all-wise God who does not waste any trial we undergo, but uses them to reach people for Himself.

How outrageous for Buddhist Monks, non violent people to attack lovers of christ for their worship before your throne. We pray that this congregation would have greater boldness to share the gospel in a powerful way as a result of this attack. Father God, I thank you for the blessed VOM workers who show the love of Christ to those being oppressed for His name. Let Your Spirit work mightily in Sri Lanka to convict the oppressors of sin, righteous through Christ alone, and the judgment to come.
