Dear Father, thank You for Your encouragement to these believers through the work of VOM, as well as the realization that other believers around the globe are standing with them. I pray that the militants from the Orthodox Church will be influenced by the support You have provided for these Christians. In Jesus' name, amen.

Father, continue to meed the needs of the people in this church. May they trust Jesus fully and not give in to fear. May they receive the peace that only Jesus can give (John 14:27). Convict others in the Orthodox church of their wrong doing so they will accept your forgiveness and be transformed by the renewing of their minds. Bring good from this.

Dear Jesus, encourage the Christians that had their church building and car destroyed. May those who burned the church and car repent. May the suffering not be in vain.

Thank You that though believers have their disagreements, we can agree on what it means to be saved and look forward to the blessed hope of Your nearing appearance. I thank You that many parts come together and that every part is important. May believers everywhere know that they make up the church or Your body. In LORD Jesus' name, amen.

I pray You heal all injured in the attack. I pray the Orthodox Church would realize how wrong they are to attack other Christians. Thank You that VOM helped & that believers were encouraged by this. I pray for the pastor & his family as he leads the people. Please bless Ethiopia by giving Your Spirit to believers as You promise. In Jesus' Name, amen.

Father, thank You for the example of these dear brothers and sisters in Christ who are ready to accept any trial and persecution that comes to them because of their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. May believers in the West adopt that same mindset. Thank You for front-line workers who've come alongside them to encourage and support their local outreach.

Thank You for our Christian brother and sisters in Ethiopia. It breaks our hear that it is the Orthodox church that is making them suffer. Their faith and perseverance is an inspiration to us and we pray that You would strengthen them in their faith and enable them to do all things for Your glory.

Father, we ask that believers in this Ethiopian Orthodox Church would be filled with compassion and grace for their attackers and that the attackers would be deeply convicted of their criminal behavior and that these attackers would begin to have dreams and visions about the One arrayed in white bringing them forgiveness through His death on the cross.

May they grow stronger in their faith as they share the gospel w those who are searching for You. Would You speak to the hearts of the persecutors. May they be convicted & turn to You in Your Name

Thank You for Your provisions for those who were attacked because they trust in Christ as their Savior. May Your grace be sufficient for them to be able to forgive those who persecuted them, and may their testimony of loving their enemies turn out for the glory of God and the salvation of others. Use them as a light to those who are still in darkness.

Lord, for these believers who were attacked, we pray for your peace and comfort, joy and strength. Help them to forgive and continue on courageously. May they rebuild, and may their love show a watching world what it looks like to follow Christ. We pray that many others will find peace and forgiveness and that Jesus's name will be spread in Ethiopia.

We thank you for your provision to help them rebuild their church so they can witness for Christ to the community. Lord, I thank you for these Christians who will stay with you unto death. May we Christians in America become like them. I pray that you would give them supernatural courage and joy in the face of such persecution. I ask that the people who did this would repent of their sins, and turn to Christ and away from dead religion. In Jesus name, I pray, amen
