Father, although time has past, there is still healing and comfort that is needed for those who lost loved ones in this attack. Please help everyone to forgive the attackers. Convict the attackers of sin and draw them to Jesus to be saved. Bring good from this situation as only You can do. Amen.

Father, I lift up this community that is facing horrible pain & suffering. Please comfort those who lost loved ones & children. Please be merciful to those & their families who were taken captive. Soften the hearts of those who are carrying out such evil violence. May Your Name receive all glory & honor for the good You will bring amidst this tragedy.

Dear Jesus, these precious people are in deepest grief. Only You can comfort them. Send Your Holy Spirit to wrap them in Your arms so they may go forward. Rescue the children who were captured. May they know You have not abandoned them.

Please comfort those in Your body affected by these attacks by Your Holy Ghost. I pray out of this devastation comes powerful witnesses to who You are and there would be many broken and contrite hearts repentant of sin. I pray the gospel from the AV1611 Bible would become planted in those hearts and You give increase. In LORD Jesus' name.

So I pray Father, for healing, forgiveness, guidance for the pastor in this community to comfort his flock. Be with each parent as they grieve their children. You are sovereign but in no way condone this senseless violence and loss of life and now all we can ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit to overwhelm these grieving families in a blanket of peace that they simply cannot explain. May they turn to You in their grief as You know what it's like to have a Son killed by violence, and You will raise their believing children just as You raised Christ.

Psalm 143: Hear our prayers, O Lord, cause these grieving parents to hear Your loving kindness as they trust in You. Cause them to know the way in which they should walk. Deliver them from their enemies, teach them to do Your will. Revive them for Your namesake and in Your mercy cut off their enemies.

My dear Father, Comfort the families who lost loved ones during the raid on the Ugandan boarding school. You warned those if they harm one hair on the head of children where they stand with you. Holy Father, be with all involved with this boarding school. Answer their questions with the truth that is you, Lord Jesus. Bring those abducted back to be fully restored. Comfort and heal the survivors. Help the families to look to you. Stop these extremists. Overwhelm them with fear of you and the realization that these are your people.

Please pray that the trespassers that have committed these horrific acts upon your beloved people find it within themselves to change their ways before they suffer the eternal consequences, lord we need world peace!
