Father, bring stability to Libya for the sake of the gospel for the sake of your name. I ask for the imprisoned Christians Ps. 119:170 "Let my supplication come before you, deliver me according to your promise." If they are executed, you still give the victory in the resurrection, but I ask for your power to be shown at this time to spread your work.

We pray that You would bless their efforts and protect them from the powers of darkness. May they be salt and light, demonstrating Your love and power and sovereignty over all the earth.

Lord I pray for godly and just leadership to emerge and break through the chaos. I pray for those who have made decisions to be humbled and see how their decisions effect everyone around them. Father, we intercede on behalf these eight Christ-followers imprisoned in Libya. In spite of their incarceration, may each of them experience true freedom and liberty in the Lord. Give them the boldness to proclaim Your Word to their fellow prisoners and those who imprison them. Bless and encourage Your servants as they obey Your Word, even unto death.

Father, amidst the chaos reveal Yourself as powerful to these six Libyan and two foreigners and no matter what happens that they would sense Your power and Your presence and that in the midst of their suffering many would be hungry for the gospel such that both from the guards and inmates, many would receive Jesus as a testimony of Your power, amen.
