Thank You for protecting these brothers and sisters on their long, circuitous journey to the US. We ask You for their adjustment in the US. May Your people here come alongside them, and assist them in adapting to a very different culture. Use them to shine the light on persecution in China. Deliver them from the trap of materialism and all of its lure.

Lord I pray for all the transitions and hard things for the Mayflower church. I pray Lord for them to lean on one another and for local church bodies to come alongside them and help provide for all their needs. I pray Lord for You to be holding and comforting them in the midst of all their changes. I pray Lord for the authorities to be gracious.

Lord God, I praise You that these believers have been granted asylum. I pray that they would see Your people at work here in the US and that their transition would be filled with believers offering support and help. May they trust and cling to You in the difficulties, and may they be able to find jobs and homes soon.

My heart breaks at the struggles face by our brothers and sisters of the Mayflower Church and other churches in China that face severe state persecution. Thank You that their asylum request was granted. May You continue to bless and lead them. May other churches stand strong and be wise in their seeking of You and living out the gospel.
